Thompson's Federalism

In this comment on a previous post about Ron Paul, Kyle takes note of Fred Thompson's position on Federalism, specifically mentioning his vote on a tort reform bill.

The other day, Thompson was on with Larry Kudlow and this point was specifically discussed:



The pundit featured in this video didn't seem too happy with his answer, but I sure liked it a lot.

You might have misread K'low. He is a free market kinda guy. He does try to be tough on everyone

Don...I know. I was referring to the woman at the end of the video, not to Kudlow.

As a fusionist, I will say that there are far bigger fish to fry than tort reform...and that interfering with states' rights is not the way to go about it in any case.

No question there are more important items, but at this stage in the decline of our government, I'll take any Federalism I can get.

Does anyone find it strange that the percentages only add up to 69%? I think Ron Paul is kicking everyone else's tail, but the powers that be do not want him to appear so.
